The Archetypes I Embody in My Work
The Archetypes I Embody in My Work
The deeper energies that move through what I offer at The Pixie
I don’t talk about myself very often.
Not because I don’t care about the work that I do, but because I’ve always had a hard time promoting it without feeling like I’m taking up too much space. But part of my journey over the last few years has been learning how to really accept where my gifts lie. Not just privately or quietly, but in a way that allows me to honor them. Because I do believe our gifts are meant to be shared—not forced, not performed, but offered to the people who are looking for exactly what we carry.
And if you’ve ever taken a class with me—especially anything around archetypes or my “walking with” series—you probably already know that I don’t work with deities in a super strict or traditional way. I work with them as archetypes. As energies. As mirrors. As living forces we can embody.
Because to me, embodiment is bigger than just understanding something intellectually. It’s deeper than reading about it, deeper than admiring it, and deeper than trying to “act like” something. Embodiment is when something lives in your body so fully that you stop reaching for it and realize… it’s already there.
And whether someone sees deities as literal beings, sacred stories, energetic forces, or archetypal mirrors doesn’t matter. It works with all paths. If an energy keeps showing up, there’s usually a reason. If you keep seeing the same themes, the same symbols, the same stories, the same names… it usually means something. Energy comes in because it’s needed. Because it has something to teach. Because it has something to awaken.
And recently, I had one of those moments where something just clicked.
The Moment It Clicked
I was in the salt cave doing a sensory session.
These sessions are not meant to push you somewhere you’re not ready to go. They are not meant to trigger you. They are not meant to crack you open or force some huge emotional breakthrough. They are meant to let you soften. They are meant to let your body feel safe enough to exhale.
When I’m in a sensory session with you, I’m not sitting there trying to do something dramatic. I’m literally just there with you—gently rubbing your head, moving slowly, holding your energy softly with mine. Most of the time, I’m quietly repeating affirmations over you in my mind: that you are safe, that you are beautiful, that you are cared for, that you are allowed to rest, that you are worthy of tenderness.
I really just want it to feel like this beautiful experience, like you’ve walked into this cave and there is someone tending to you with reverence and care because you deserve that. Because that kind of care is necessary, because it is truly an honor to hold that kind of space for someone. And recently, in one of these sessions, I was with a woman who had this gorgeous, thick, curly hair and the softest, warmest energy. She felt like a subtle breeze the minute she walked into the shop. While I was with her, I realized how deeply embodied I felt in what I was doing.
There was no second-guessing, no trying, no hiding behind humor. I was just fully in it. There was this feeling that came over me—like I was tapping into something old, something remembered. Almost like I wasn’t entirely in this time. Like I had done this kind of tending before, somewhere beyond this life, and was rediscovering it through the work I do now. I was moving in and out of that awareness, there was this little nudge in the back of my intuition and consciousness, like someone gently tapping to get my attention.
For a second, I found myself wondering, okay… who is that?
And then I nearly laughed out loud.
Because I’m sitting in a salt cave full of glowing orange light, surrounded by lamps that look like little hearth fires. There are candles in the cave that sometimes seem to turn on entirely on their own. The whole space already feels like it’s carrying that kind of warmth.
Of course it was Brigid.
Brigid is often associated with the hearth, healing, inspiration, and sacred tending—so when I realized her energy was showing up there, it made perfect sense.
And it made me realize something really clearly: this is exactly how I want those sessions to feel.
Like you are in a warm, soft, safe cave with fire glowing around you, being tended to with reverence and care. Like you are being held the way something sacred should be held. Because you are. Because that kind of care is necessary. Because so many of us move through life without ever being truly, gently tended to.
And because I am genuinely honored every single time someone trusts me enough to let me hold them in that way and in that kind of space.
That’s what those sessions are to me. They are not about performance. They are not about intensity. They are not about fixing you. They are about sacred care. They are about tenderness. They are about the kind of energy that reminds you your body deserves to feel safe. And once I realized that, it made me start thinking about where else these energies live in my work and in my life.
And I thought it would be kind of fun—but also kind of meaningful—to share where I feel them showing up the most.
The Archetypes in My Work
Brigid — The Hearthkeeper
sensory sessions, nervous system tending, sacred teaching
This is the energy I feel most strongly in my sensory resets and one-on-one tending work.
Warmth, devotion, softness, and the sacredness of care.
This is not flashy healing. It is quiet, intentional, and grounded. It is the kind of care that says, you do not have to brace here.
And the more I’ve sat with Brigid, the more I’ve realized she also shows up in the way I teach.
Because Brigid is not just hearth and tending to me—she is also inspiration, wisdom, and illumination. The kind of knowing that gently lights something up inside of you.
And that is exactly how I want my teaching to feel too.
Not overwhelming. Not gatekept. Not heavy.
Just like someone gently handing you a flame and saying, here—this might help you see yourself more clearly.
The Morrígan — The One Who Calls You Forward
full moon ceremonies, release work, truth, sovereignty
My full moon ceremonies hold a very different energy.
They are bigger, wilder, and more honest.
This is where I feel The Morrígan.
Not in a chaotic or fear-based way, but in that sacred, sovereign way where something inside of you says, I’m done carrying this.
This is the work of release. Of shouting. Of stomping. Of moving what has gotten stuck in your body. Of letting yourself physically, emotionally, and energetically let go.
To me, The Morrígan is not destruction for the sake of destruction.
She is truth.
The kind of truth that sets you free.
Rhiannon — The Sovereign Guide
new moon work, retreats, becoming, threshold crossing
There is something in me that comes fully alive during retreats.
And honestly, if you’ve ever been to one of them, you probably know exactly what I mean.
There is something mystical about stepping outside of your normal life and into a space that has been created with intention. A space where you can actually hear yourself again.
That is where I feel Rhiannon most strongly.
Because Rhiannon, to me, feels like threshold energy.
She doesn’t rush. She doesn’t force. She walks beside.
She opens the gate and invites you into the next version of yourself.
That is what retreats feel like to me.
Not like escaping your life.
But like remembering yourself more clearly.
Freyja — The Mirror
readings, intuitive sessions, self-worth, honest reflection
There is a certain energy that comes through in readings that is different from my sensory work and different from ceremony.
It is still loving, but it is sharper, more revealing, and more direct.
This is where I feel Freyja.
Because Freyja, to me, is not just softness or beauty.
She is depth. She is power. She is the kind of love that tells the truth.
This is the work where we look at patterns, stories, and what is underneath the surface.
And it’s never about judgment.
It’s about awareness.
Because you can’t shift something you refuse to see.
And there is something deeply sacred in being lovingly reflected back to yourself.
Cerridwen — The Cauldron
shadow work, transformation, the deeper work of becoming
There is a kind of work that is quieter, deeper, and not always comfortable—but incredibly important.
The kind where you sit with the parts of yourself that are unresolved, hidden, exiled, or waiting to be understood.
And this is where I feel the energy of Cerridwen.
Cerridwen is cauldron energy.
Transformation. Alchemy. The slow and sacred process of becoming something new.
Not by skipping over what is hard, but by sitting honestly with it long enough for it to change you.
This is the work I feel myself growing into more and more.
And it’s work I care deeply about holding in a way that is safe, grounded, and real.
So What Is It That I Actually Do Here?
There are practical answers to that question.
And then there’s the real one.
The practical answer is that I offer services, sessions, classes, ceremonies, and retreats inside a salt cave sanctuary.
The real answer is that I meet people in different ways depending on what they need.
Sometimes you need to be held.
Sometimes you need to release.
Sometimes you need to remember who you are.
Sometimes you need to tell the truth.
Sometimes you need to be witnessed.
And I think what I’m finally learning is that I’m allowed to say that clearly.
I’m allowed to name the kind of work I do. I’m allowed to acknowledge the gifts that live in me.
And maybe that’s part of the work too.
Not just tending to others—but tending to the truth of who you are.
If you’ve ever been curious about the deeper energy behind the work I offer here, this is a little glimpse into it.
And if you’ve ever sat with me in any capacity, you’ve probably already felt some of these energies for yourself.
You might even already know which one is calling you.
