what are the lengths of your sessions?

Our private and community salt sessions are 45-minutes.

Is salt therapy safe?

Salt Therapy at The Salted Pixie is a 100% natural, drug-free, non-invasive wellness ritual with no dangerous side effects or potential health hazards. If you have any concerns about your medical condition, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional.

What should I wear during a salt therapy session?

Wear comfortable clothing to your session at The Salted Pixie. Shorts and t-shirts are ideal for exposing your skin if needed, and we provide blankets if you get cold. Socks are optional for warmth, although many clients prefer to go barefoot.

How does salt therapy work?

Dry pure grade sodium chloride is ground into tiny micro-particles using a halogenerator. These particles are then dispersed into the salt room during your session. As you relax, they are inhaled and lay on you skin, penetrating deep into your respiratory system and balancing PH on the skin.

Who can benefit from salt therapy and what conditions does it help with?

Salt therapy benefits people of all ages, aiding in overall wellness, respiratory health, and skin conditions such as allergies, asthma, bronchitis, psoriasis, and sinus infections. It also supports enhanced athletic performance, vocal health, and recovery from colds and flu.

What are the potential side effects of salt therapy?

Occasionally, some individuals may experience a mild tickle in the throat or increased cough due to excess mucus movement, indicating the therapy's effectiveness.

Are there any precautions or conditions where salt therapy is not recommended?

While generally safe, salt therapy is not recommended for individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment, with infectious diseases, acute respiratory conditions, advanced COPD, coughing of blood, fever accompanied infections, hypertension stage IIB, tuberculosis, or chronic kidney disease.

What is your cancellation policy for services?

We require a 24-hour notice for all service cancellations. Failure to provide notice results in a 100% charge of the service fee, which compensates our staff reserved specifically for your session and helps accommodate others on our waitlist.
